Camille Hirigoyen & Julien Choquart shoot 'Living for Love' music video through Wanda Paris

The Parisian directors Camille Hirigoyen and Julien Choquart, commonly known as J.A.C.K, have recently directed the first video of Madonna’s new album.

The duo met at the Penninghen Superior School of Graphic Arts in Paris. Upon graduation, the duo moved to China, where they had a very successful career. The two returned to Paris in 2009 and become J.A.C.K. Luxury brands such as Dior, Maison Martin Margiela as well as famous brands like Ikea were drawn to them, yet they continued to direct music videos for young artists.

In 2014, J.A.C.K collaborated with the French artist Christine and the Queens, who they directed two music videos for. That’s when Madonna spotted them. Definitely enchanted by their sense of refinement and their creativity, she asked them to direct “Living for Love”, the first single from her new album.

The two brought on the talents of many collaborators: Philippe Lesourd for lighting, B. Akerlund for the art direction (who had previously worked on promos for Beyonce, Britney Spears & Lady Gaga), Danny Tull for the editing (Madonna’s longtime collaborator) and Megan Lawson for the choreography.

Madonna even adopted the concept of the J.A.C.K's music video for her breathtaking performance at the Grammy Awards ceremony on February 8th 2015.
