Coaches of my life
It is always difficult to find a way to shoot a multi-situation sports spot. The intervention of the art team is key to swiftly generate fictitious spaces in order to reuse locations and avoid travelling, thus optimizing the time of shooting. The casting was another of the major challenges since we needed almost a hundred athletes of different levels. Most of them professional sports people, to convey more strength and truthfulness to the characters. Finally, we must highlight the camera’s point of view, which is key in this film. By using adequate lenses and a special helmet that allowed for shooting with an Epic on the head, we got the effect of the coach’s subjective view to be very powerful.
The Production Club is an advertising films production agency based in Barcelona. Since 2014 we work side by side with the best advertising agencies. We like to take care of the little things, thinking twice before every step we take but also taking risks when it’s worth. We are cautious and bold at the same time.
