London-based production agency have been collaborating with creative agency Wavelength Media and The Kite Mag on a new project … racing the new Bentley Bentayga V8 against two of the world’s best Kite Surfers.
The shoot took place on Rømø Beach, Denmark with 6x World Champ Florian Gruber and European Champion Guy Bridge taking on Guy Smith, Le Mans 24 hr winner and core driver for Bentley M-Sport team, driving the Bentley Bentayga V8.
Tinderflint’s rostered Director James Lovick said “Shooting with Bentley and The Kite Mag has been one of my highlights of this year. With such a dramatic location and the awesome Bentayga & Kite Surfers raring to go, it was up to us to deliver the goods... filming with Tinderflint’s Conal Reid, the shoot was as fast paced and adrenaline filled as the race on screen! Working in a small three-man crew I’m really pleased with our efforts and look forward to hopefully working with Wavelength Media and Bentley again soon.
The race was held on the beach to level the playing field with the brutal North Sea as the backdrop. The Bentayga engaging sand mode and battling through the uncompromising terrain, whilst the Kite Surfers have the advantage of being in their natural environment and can ride at top speed with good wind. The Kite Surfers can stop and turn in the blink of an eye, in the Bentayga Guy Smith has to employ all of his driving skills to keep the V8 in the running, especially as he slows in the deep sand to turn around the halfway point.
Wavelength Media CEO Will Hayler commented ““All the elements came together on this project. Working with Bentley everything needs to be absolutely on point. This was a project where even the weather needed to play its part. A great result all round”.

Tinderflint was set up
in 2010 with the aim to work on projects which we felt passionate about. Our
first project with the International Planned Parenthood Foundation (IPPF) shot
across the globe covering difficult subjects such as Forced Marriage and Sex Trafficking.
The award-winning series enabled the IPPF to secure funding for a further five
years and was shown in The Hague.
In 2017 we made the pledge to join Free the
Bid http://freethebid.com/ to help combat equality and diversity issues within
the industry. Supported by brands like AirBnB and Coca Cola, whenever we put
three creative options forward on a project, at least one of them will be from
a female director.
