Netflix - The Witcher Season 2 Launch

Brief

To launch season 2 of The Witcher, Netflix tasked Experience12 with designing, building and touring a giant snow globe containing a fearsome, fantasy Myriapod.

What we did

Execution

Requiring an exceptional level of detail to truly honour the IP, the 3.5m Myriapod was 3D printed in over 200 components using recycled ocean and industrial plastics, before being assembled around a central skeleton and hand finished by expert scenic painters.

The Myriapod then found it’s home inside a 5m diameter ultra-clear inflatable dome, on top of a steel deck frame concealed inside scenic painted CNC rock fascias.

The activity launched at the season 2 press junket for a talent shoot before embarking on a tour through high footfall locations including Birmingham, Manchester and Glasgow. It also popped up in season 2 filming locations including Ripon, Durham and Farnham.
