The Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum and Wieden+Kennedy New York have collaborated on a new campaign featuring a series of digital and OOH posters to celebrate the museum's recent reopening.
Everyone expects New York City to have world-class design. But no one expects New York City to have world-class design on the Upper East Side. When the Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum reopened its doors for the first time in three years after undergoing an extensive renovation, W+K set out to remind New Yorkers that the center of design is on the Upper East Side.
Playing up this somewhat surprising truth, the OOH will be placed in some of NYC's more frequently thought of design hotspots, letting residents know where the pinnacle of NYC design really is.
