The Toronto employment law firm has responded to the recent news involving Sam Altman and OpenAI by using their own technology, ChatGPT, to explain how Whitten and Lublin can help sort out their employment fiasco.
The AI led campaign 'Bad Boards Hate Us' created by agency One Twenty Three West, was inspired by the series of chaotic events surrounding the firing and hiring of OpenAI CEO Sam Altman by the board of directors. “Whitten and Lublin are experts at navigating employment disputes no matter how complicated they get. So, when we saw what was happening at OpenAI, we wanted to remind employees that we’re here to help.” Says Whitten & Lublin CMO, Maria Melo-Boone.
The campaign is centred around an open letter written by ChatGPT that calls out the recent employment ‘dumpster fire’ at OpenAI and suggests that they call Whitten and Lublin to help them through it. “When we had the idea to use OpenAI’s own technology to point out that they use some legal help, the irony was just too good to pass up” says One Twenty Three West creative director Ryan Semeniuk.
The video open letter is accompanied by responsive social and display ads that are currently live across social digital news platforms.
