The agency arrives in Colombia to support companies that want to create, grow and accelerate digital business, strengthening WPP's digital commerce capabilities in the market by belonging to the global network of VMLY&R COMMERCE.
Corebiz, an agency specialised in technology, experience and marketing for e-commerce, expands its operation to Colombia by investing in its ability to generate new business. After all, the Colombian e-commerce market is expected to grow 70% by 2023. A figure that holds up considering the recent economic turmoil, as the country remains the third largest digital retail market in the region, surpassed only by Brazil and Mexico.
Clients such as Whirlpool, Motorola, Chevignon, Naf Naf, Americanino, American Eagle and Miniso are part of the client base that Corebiz has already started to build in this market; "the main reason we landed in Colombia was to maintain our strongest thesis: to support companies that want to build, grow and accelerate their digital business. So much so that our first partners in the country were consolidated brands in the region that wanted to grow their business and relied on Corebiz to do so," says Galba Junior, VP Latam at Corebiz.
The arrival of this agency strengthens the commercial offer of VMLY&R COMMERCE and VMLY&R network in the country, generating innovative responses to the changing needs of consumers. This new operation responds to the accelerated growth strategy of WPP, company to which the VMLY&R global network belongs.
New business
Last year, Corebiz became part of WPP, the largest communications and advertising group in the world, integrating the global network of VMLY&R COMMERCE; "this gives us more opportunities to overcome borders and Colombia has always been on our radar. Before joining WPP Group, Corebiz started making discrete moves in the country with some global clients, but we also had an interest in attracting local businesses. With the partnership of VMLY&R Colombia, we can accelerate this path" says Fernando Almeida, country manager LATAM.
For Galba Junior, VP Latam at Corebiz, the partnership is extremely important and strategic, as it allows the agency's expertise and excellence to be showcased more broadly. "E-commerce is a global movement, but it manifests itself locally. Thinking this way, we can say that Colombia offers a universe of very interesting opportunities for Corebiz," he concludes.
