Turkish Airlines Turns Selfies into Seats with New Competition

Turkish Airlines latest campaign launches at the Piccadilly Lights and offers travellers the chance to win free flights to dream destinations

Turkish Airlines has today announced it will be giving away two tickets a week, for the next nine weeks, as part of its new #TakeMeThere campaign, which has launched at Piccadilly Lights this morning.

#The world famous billboard will be lit up by the airline’s latest campaign, which is promoting the 120 different countries the airline flies to, more than any other carrier.

In order to enter the competition, Instagram users need to take a selfie in front of the iconic screens, while they are showing Turkish Airlines’ latest campaign, and include the hashtag #TakeMeThere while tagging @turkishairlines and telling the airline where they want to go. Winners will be picked at random at the end of each week, and notified shortly afterwards, before jetting off to their chosen destination.

Whether flights for a holiday, visiting friends or going home, Turkish Airlines will give eighteen lucky competition winners the chance to fly to the destination of their choice this winter. As the airline that flies to more countries than any other, they will be provided with a multitude of destinations to choose from. With the Piccadilly Lights being one of the world’s most recognisable advertising sites, it is hoped that many people will stop for a second to take a quick selfie for a chance to win that break they’ve been dreaming of aboard Turkish Airlines, enjoying award-winning service quality along the way.
