The Sweetspot Welcomes Directors Viktor Heinz & Luciano Ruiz

The Sweetspot´s cooking again and serves us not one, but two additions to their roster of directing talents. Managing partner Daniel Kottirsch is more than thrilled to have them on board, saying:

‘I couldn't be more happy to welcome Viktor and Luciano to our roster! 

Here is Luciano Ruiz from Argentina - with his South American spirit he definitely stands out immediately. His private collection of movies and action figures is hardly surprising - his two Seinfeld tattoos and his first shoot at the age of 6 are more so. After his studies at the FUC in Argentina, Luciano just went full throttle. His storytelling is to the point, his visual language is right in line with the zeitgeist - moreover, the 29-year-old convinced us early on that he's going to be 150% committed to the concept right from the start and write a great script. Viktor Heinz is based in Duesseldorf. Highly influenced by his upbringing within the urban music and club scene of Mannheim, he seeks to portray raw and emotional expression in all of his work, using his intuition to tap into countercultures across the globe. Viktor moved to Duesseldorf after graduating from the Popakademie Baden-Wuerttemberg, where he expanded his creative horizons and started to offer his own perspectives in contemporary creation. What we especially love about him is his talent for making everything look like it’s the next big thing, cleverly combined with his exceptional eye for ‘I-want-to-click-it’ visuals.
