Sibling Rivalry Films Adds Director Kevin Castanheira to Roster

Sibling Rivalry Films, a bicoastal independent creative production company known for its work with brands such as HBO on the launch of Legendary, Beats, and redesigning BET, recently welcomed Kevin Castanheira to its roster as a new director. 

Kevin began his career, working as a director of photography. He would quickly transition into directing, building an impressive portfolio of successful campaigns for the likes of Marshall Headphones, Huawei, Johnnie Walker, H&M, Casamigos, and Rimowa. Kevin continues to photograph, having shot stills on many of the campaigns he directs. He loves to work closely with brands and agencies early on in the creative process for the betterment of the projects.

Within Kevin’s work, the craft is at the centre of all projects he directs. He focuses on capturing counterculture with a heart, beautiful compositions, and working within a technical framework that accentuates his ability for storytelling — as illustrated by his VFX sensibilities during the Marshall Headphones and Alexa project.
