Ryff, the leader of the exploding industry of virtual product placement (VPP), will be the engine providing VPP capabilities for World Chase Tag USA (WCT). WCT announced in June that they had secured a multi-year agreement with ESPN to distribute their programming across multiple ESPN platforms.
“Using Ryffs AI-enabled Virtual Intelligent Product Placement tools, we can now offer our brands and partners the opportunity to appear smack dab in the middle of the action!” said Johnny McMahon, GM and chief content officer of World Chase Tag,
Chase Tag competitions feature the world’s most elite parkour athletes, ninja warriors, Hollywood stuntmen, and even an Olympic Track & Field medal winner. The athletes compete in five rounds of knockout matches culminating in an action-packed battle to take home the World Chase Tag USA Championship trophy.
“Knowing ESPN is the primary television network bringing the WTC competitions into the homes of millions of viewers was enough to convince me that they are a perfect candidate for our technology,” said Roy Taylor, founder, and CEO of Ryff. “Our VPP capabilities raise the bar for WTC and all their partners who want their brands in the front row for engaged viewers to see while ingesting hours of adrenaline-filled content.”
WCT has amassed a global following, including more than 800 million organic online views. Previous events have aired on NBC Sports, ESPN, Channel 4, Fuji T.V., CBS, and the BBC.
