In their newest social campaign, Taco Bell worked with the Reddit community to bring one user's epic journey for the Quesalupa to life as an animated short titled, 'u/Tmanowen's Adventure.'
Outlined in u/Tmanowen's original Reddit post, is a story of how he fell in love with the Quesalupa and his heartbreak when it left the menu. After hearing that the Quesalupa was returning to a test market in Knoxville, TN, he traveled over 900 miles through air and land to finally reunite with the Quesalupa.
The short, made entirely by Reddit users, brings this story to life through various animation styles - from 2D to stop motion - unique to each Reddit contributor. Additionally, the original score was composed by a Reddit community member and the short is voiced by u/Tmanowen himself.
'u/Tmanowen's Adventure' was made in collaboration with creative agency Deutsch LA and launches today across Taco Bell owned social channels, including TikTok, Instagram, Twitter and YouTube. It will also be posted on Reddit.
