Radio LBB: LUXE, Beyond the Realms

For our last Radio LBB of the year, Twenty Below are passing the aux to London-based artist and composer LUXE, who recently composed the music for White Claw’s US campaign starring JB Smoove.

Within the UK club scene, few occupy the space that she has carved out for herself in recent years. LUXE studied classical music from a young age, with focus on flute, piano and voice. As a producer, she is rapidly making a name for herself as a purveyor of thoughtfully multifaceted music that finds life on, and increasingly, beyond the dancefloor. As a DJ, she’s a fixture, noted for her eclectic yet focused selections, unperturbed by genre or scene constraints. Since moving to London, her various disciplines have begun to converge – the open-ended possibilities of electronic music, the invaluable underpinning of music theory and the understated confidence afforded from years of classical practice. 

"Here's a selection of some of my favourite tracks beyond the realms of dance music that I've been returning a lot to recently. Despite existing within dance music spheres quite prominently, I spend most of my time day to day listening to other genres. This playlist is a nice representation of the spread of sounds I've been reaching for in the last month or so” said LUXE.
