McCann Worldgroup announced today that has been ranked the Most Effective Agency Network in Europe in the global 2021 Effie Effectiveness Index. This represents a record-breaking milestone for the network in the region, beating its own previously held record to take the top spot for an unprecedented 6th year.
The Effie Index identifies and ranks the most effective agencies, marketers, brands, networks, and holding companies by analysing finalist and winner data from Effie Awards competitions around the world. Announced annually, it is the most comprehensive global ranking of marketing effectiveness.
In addition, the global network earned the following recognition in this year’s ranking:
#1 Global Network (for the 4th consecutive year)
#1 network in the Middle East & Africa
#2 LATAM Network
4 of the top 10 individual agencies ranked globally by the Effie Index were McCann Worldgroup agencies: FP7 McCann Dubai was #1; McCann Tel Aviv was #3, McCann Worldgroup New Delhi was #5 and McCann Worldgroup Lima was #8.
The Effie Effectiveness rankings also recognised the global brands most successful in producing effective results with their marketing communications, citing a number of the network’s global clients including General Motors, Mastercard and IKEA. Client RB was ranked in the Top 10 list of global marketers.
