Mackevision’s VFX in 'Lost in Space, Season 2' and 'Watchmen' Nominated for Two Primetime Emmy Awards

The Emmy award nominations were announced on Tuesday and Mackevision’s Prof. Juri Stanossek and Emanuel Fuchs, both VFX supervisors, have been nominated in the category of Outstanding Visual Effects. Juri Stanossek is nominated for 'Lost in Space, Season 2' together with Jabbar Raisini, Terron Pratt, Marion Spates, and other vendor supervisors. Emanuel Fuchs is nominated for 'Watchmen' along with Erik Henry, Matt Roebken, Ashley J. Ward, and VFX supervisors from other vendors.

For Stanossek, it is the third Emmy nomination over the course of his career. In 2012, he received both an Emmy award and an award from the renowned American organisation Visual Effects Society for his work on the second season of 'Game of Thrones'. For VES Award winner Emanuel

Fuchs it is his first Emmy Nomination as a VFX supervisor.

Mackevision was one of multiple VFX companies operating worldwide that transformed 'Lost in Space, Season 2' and 'Watchmen' into superlative fantasy experiences. Mackevision provided digitally rendered scenes including spaceships, robot crowds, CG water, compositing and full CG environments.
