Genie Gurnani Becomes Inaugural Chair of the 2024 PrideAM Awards

Pride in Advertising & Marketing (PrideAM), the 2SLGBTQ+ organisation for people working in the advertising and marketing industry, proudly announces Genie Gurnani as the first-ever chair of the 2024 PrideAM Awards. A powerhouse in the marketing and entertainment realm across Los Angeles, Brooklyn, Singapore, and Hong Kong, Genie has held marketing leadership roles with the world’s most iconic entertainment brands, including Netflix and VICE Media, as well as agency J. Walter Thompson. 

With a career spanning various global hubs in the marketing industry, Genie has established themselves as a trailblazer in creativity, strategy, and inclusivity. Their dual life as an executive drag queen, adorned with experiences such as being a contestant on Drag Race Thailand, showcases their unique ability to bridge creativity, advocacy, and innovation. 

In Genie’s role as the chair of the 2024 PrideAM Awards, they are poised to spearhead a transformative vision that celebrates exceptional marketing endeavours within the 2SLGBTQ+ community. Their diverse background and commitment to authentic representation promise to elevate the awards' mission of recognizing impactful campaigns and fostering inclusivity.
