Djawid Hakimyar Captures the 'Faces of Commisery' in New Purplebricks Spot

SNAP LDN and Partizan director Djawid Hakimyar’s new spot ‘Regrets’ for Purplebricks does exactly what it says on the tin - it features a group of people full of regret for not using the online estate agent. Following on from a successful campaign of films using comedy to highlight the pros of Purplebricks, this spot strips back the script to just the visuals.

Made up of carefully considered and observed vignettes, Djawid skilfully adds an injection of comedy and surrealism to everyday situations. With perfect comedic timing and casting, the film showcases Djawid’s signature aesthetic.

Djawid commented on the shoot, which happened earlier this month: “It was a little bit like having fun at an amusement park and getting paid for it. Just imagine me standing next to the camera with a paintball-gun, aiming at the actor and asking myself for another take with a grin…”
