Camille Summers-Valli is a director, photographer, and artist with an instinct for the visually stunning and emotionally charged. Born in Bangkok and raised in the mountains of Nepal, her creative journey is as globe-spanning as her unique style. A graduate of Central Saint Martins in London, she dove into the world of fashion and film, blending high fashion with heartfelt storytelling.
From working with luxury brands such as Chanel, Gucci, and Burberry to her editorial work featuring in Vogue and The New York Times, Camille interweaves art, nature, and activism in her work. Her film 'The Truth Takes a Journalist' for The New York Times won big for its raw and kinetic portrayal of reporters' lives, while her short for Vogue, 'Body Language', took home silver at Ciclope Festival in 2022. Playful yet thought-provoking, Camille has a diverse body of work that is full of colour, emotion, and a certain magic that provokes audiences to feel something deeper.
Now based in Paris and Los Angeles, she continues to create boundary-pushing films that are rich in both colour and emotion. 'Mama’s Eyes', Camille’s first collaboration with pop sensation METTE took home a Grand Prix and two golds for ‘Best Direction’ and ‘Editing at Ciclope Festival last year. The film paints a vivid portrait of the multi-disciplinary artist, blending flash cuts of archival footage, home videos and exhilarating choreography. She also enjoyed an impressive haul at the prestigious UK Music Video Awards where it was awarded ‘Video of the Year’, 'Best Pop Video' & 'Best Editing’ in 2023.
Camille joins the MJZ roster for representation in the US, UK, and The Netherlands.
