Dept has won four prizes at the Dutch Interactive Awards (DIAs). The prizes, that revolve around the best interactive work from Dutch creators, were awarded yesterday at the Amsterdam Conference Centre Beurs van Berlage. That same evening in Hilversum, the digital agency won a SAN Accent for their campaign for Chocomel.
At the DIAs, Dept won gold in the ‘Campaign’ category for the digital-first campaign they developed for Chocomel. The jury particularly appreciated the combination of brand and performance results, and called the campaign “dynamic, funny and contemporary”. On the same night, the brand also received a golden SAN Accent for their campaign ‘Alles is lekkerder met Chocomel’.
Also, the new website for Kempen was rewarded with two silver awards, both for ‘Brand’ and ‘Corporate’. The jury was particularly pleased with the distinctive and visualised brand identity.
In addition, Ronan McCormack, who was voted Best in Technology by colleagues, received a Dutch Interactive Professional Award. As Senior Creative Developer he was technically responsible for the award-winning, digital cross-media campaign that Dept has set up for the Gemeentemuseum Den Haag.
Dimi Albers, Managing Director at Dept: “Delivering great work for our clients has always been our number one priority and being rewarded for that is definitely an honor. We are also very proud of our Ronan, who really deserved the Best in Technology Award.”
