In what might be the most surreal cancer awareness campaign you have ever seen, a choir of sunburned Danes make a hilarious appeal to their favorite holiday destinations.
Every year, thousands of Danish tourists travel to sunny destinations on holiday.
Unfortunately, many of them return home with a sunburn: Denmark has the highest incidence of the deadliest form of skin cancer, melanoma, in Scandinavia.
Five favorite travel destinations have been chosen: Thailand, Spain, Greece, France and Italy. Each country receives a clear message: The Danes need help from the locals to remember shade, sunhat and sunscreen. Volunteers can sign up to become a Help a Dane ambassador and make sure the tourists don’t get a sunburn on their holiday.
