Burning Reel Welcomes Chris Sims

Award-winning director Christopher Sims has signed to Burning Reel for exclusive UK commercial representation.

Christopher Sims came of age in the feverish OC/LA skateboard scene of the late ’90s. 

After discovering photography in high school, he began touring with bands in the Southern California hardcore punk scene, and fashioning music videos and documentaries out of the cascade of raw footage – an edge and energy he carried forward into his prolific music video and commercial career.

Racking up over a billion views for his promos, and working with platinum selling artists such as Usher, Ludacris, Avril Lavigne, Stone Temple Pilots, and Ne-Yo to emerging stars like A Great Big World and Cassie, hasn't stopped him from continuing to be a hands-on filmmaker - from being his own camera op to running the editorial. 

He is currently in development on a multitude of projects - documentary features, unscripted mini-series, an undergarment fashion brand and currently a digital episodic basketball docu-series for the new heralded media platform, The Player's Tribune.

His latest hit features the actress we all love as Eleven from Stranger Things in this beautiful and vibrant music video for Sigma's latest track 'Find Me', featuring powerful vocals from Grammy nominated artist Birdy.
